Gallup International Balkan’s Research Activity Receives Important New Institutional Recognition

The research activity of Gallup International Balkan has received important new institutional recognition. The National Centre for Information and Documentation (NACID) has included the agency’s bilingual publication in political science, sociology and law, Bulgaria and the World: Developments, Dynamics and Outlook, in the National Reference List of Contemporary Bulgarian Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications.

Published in Bulgarian and English, the journal is distributed primarily by subscription to a wide range of Bulgarian and international institutions, organisations and individual subscribers, and is subsequently made available to the public. Its Editorial Board brings together leading authorities from academia and practice in political science, sociology and law: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tatyana Burudzhieva (Chair), Prof. Dr. Rosen Stoyanov, Corresponding Member Vladimir Chukov, Prof. Dr. Mihail Konstantinov, Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Minchev, D.Sc., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Tsekov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zdravka Krasteva, Dr. Petar Kichashki, and Dr. Petko Petkov.

Inclusion in the National Reference List attests to the journal’s quality and allows articles published in it to be counted toward the scientometric records of scholars, university lecturers, researchers and doctoral candidates in political science, sociology and law.
